Rob Ballingall has been busy!


The company that Rob Ballingall works for (Nylon Studios) has just won the Best Sound Design AMP Award for their work with Intel on ‘Intelligent Sounds’.

Since graduation Rob has been working as a freelance engineer and mixer and has moved to New York. In 2012 he worked beside Grammy winning engineers Warren Russell-Smith, Steve Rosenthal, Brian Thorn and Ted Young and assisted during the recording of David Bowie’s 2013 album ‘The Next Day’.

At the end of 2012 Rob became studio manager at Nylon Studios in Manhattan.
Nylon houses four composers and one sound designer in New York, creating music and sound for TV commercials and short films.
