Flippin’ Eccles, it’s Bobby! And he’s charting all over the place.

This is the new video from CM grad Bobby Eccles’ band Siblings.

The video took a long day and 300 costume changes to shoot and the single was previewed at the end 2012 by Robert Elms (BBC London) and Jo Whiley (BBC Radio 2).

This is not the band’s first release. “We wrote and recorded 3 songs when I was in 3rd year for the BBC 1 TV series ‘Inspector George Gently’ and got to appear on it too. We recently got asked back to do some session work with them, the 2 tracks we did are now in the top 5 in the World Music Charts in Australia, Holland, Belgium and New Zealand.”

“Expect Vampire Weekened flavoured vibes from Siblings on their new single Colours. It’s a joyous bit of indie-pop from a group that has already seen acclaim from BBC Nottingham and Counterfeit magazine. All jangly surf guitar and an uncluttered DIY ethic – a Mumford and Sons on happy pills, if you will.”
Music City Post 2012

“The barn’s upper floor sagged and bounced horrifyingly (I’ve seen the woodworm) as dancing, cheering partygoers refused to let SIBLINGS leave, even after two encores”
Matthew Parris – The Times 2012

“SIBLINGS have provided the soundtrack to the Summer of 2012 on The Beat, they set fire to their harmonies, My Brother encapsulates this, it’s one of the most played tracks on The Beat this year.”
Dean Jackson BBC Nottingham – The Beat 2012

“Glorious 4-part harmonies worthy of Fleet Foxes and voraciously catchy afro-pop beats, the shimmering acoustic sway ‘Summers End’ is a definite festival highlight”
Kate Parkin – Counterfeit Magazine 2012
